Reasons to say no to Credit Cards
Debit cards have certain limits attached to it
- Daily withdrawal limits– Most debit cards will have daily withdrawal limits for cash so if you are planning on making a major purchase (above AED 10,000) you have to plan in advance.
- Holding deposits – Some hotels will not accept debit cards for room security deposits. If you are travelling overseas it is also recommended that you also carry a credit card for this purpose.
- Online shopping – Overseas online stores may not accept debit card payments.
